Stream Key Setup — YouTube Live

Go to YouTube Studio → Go Live → Stream. Copy your Stream URL (rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2) and Stream Key. Paste both below and stream with OBS or any RTMP encoder.

Your stream key is private — never share it publicly.

📡 How to Stream via OBS

  1. 1. Open OBS → Settings → Stream
  2. 2. Set Service to Custom
  3. 3. Paste the RTMP URL in "Server"
  4. 4. Paste your Stream Key in "Stream Key"
  5. 5. Click Start Streaming in OBS

Steps

  1. 1.Go to YouTube Studio → click "Go Live" in the top right
  2. 2.Choose "Streaming software" as the stream type
  3. 3.Copy the Stream URL: rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2
  4. 4.Copy your personal Stream Key from YouTube Studio
  5. 5.Paste both below and hit Start Streaming in OBS
  6. 6.Your YouTube channel will go live once OBS connects
